নজরুল ‘কাণ্ডারী হুঁশিয়ার’ লিখলেন "দুর্গম গিরি, কান্তার মরু, দুস্তর পারাবার লঙ্ঘিতে হবে রাত্রি নিশীথে, যাত্রীরা হুঁশিয়ার!" অনতি বিলম্বে সজনিকান্ত তার প্যারডি তৈরি করে ফেললেন, "চোর ও ছ্যাঁচোর ছিঁচকে সিঁধেলে দুনিয়া চমৎকার তলপি-তলপা, তহবিল নিয়ে ভাণ্ডারী হুঁশিয়ার।" স্বয়ং রবীন্দ্রনাথ ও রেহাই পান নি, তার গান দিয়ে প্যারডি বানিয়েছিলেন স্বয়ং নজরুল।

যাকে পড়ার ছিল, না-পড়েই উল্টিয়ে গেলে পৃষ্ঠার পর পৃষ্ঠা! অনীহা অপচয় করে দিলো তোমাকে, বইকে? কিছু বই স্পষ্টাক্ষরে লিখা, কিছু বইয়ের ভাষা পঙক্তিতে নেই— আছে পঙক্তিমালার শূন্যস্থানে। এজগৎ— রহস্যতম বই, এবং এজীবন সে-বইয়ের দীর্ঘতম অধ্যায়। কিছুই অলৌকিক নয়, সমস্তই সত্য— অক্ষরের মতো। শুধু, বুঝতে শেখো, পড়তে শেখো, খুঁজে নিতে শেখো— অক্ষরের না-বলা কথা।
